eBike Mounting Kit

The eBike mounting adapter includes a special base plate that allows a pair of Kradls to be mounted side-by-side and to a single ceiling joist.  It also enables hanging your bike either either parallel or perpendicular to the joist. 

• Two Kradls (not included) mount to the base using the four included threaded metal inserts and bolts. 
• The two lag bolts from the Kradl box fasten the adapter base to the ceiling. 
• Two additional black caps are included so you can cover all 6 bolt heads
• Select and order your two Kradls separately, making sure that the total lifting capacity is not too much higher than the actual weight of your eBike.

This mounting base is not mandatory, but it is helpful for many eBike applications.

For heavier eBikes weighing over 40lbs, you can use a pair of Kradls together in order to hoist the bike.  Select a Kradl capacity pairing that doesn't overshoot the actual weight of our eBike by more than about 15lbs.  For example, if your eBike weighs 60lbs, then select a pairing of 40lb + 25lb = 65lb capacity Kradls. 

It is best to attach both of the harnesses to the top tube of your eBike within a few inches of each other.  That makes it easier to control the lowering and lifting of the pair simultaneously.  Please contact us if you are unsure about the best setup for your eBike.
